In the Monitor module, administrators are responsible for overseeing ongoing classes to ensure teaching quality and classroom discipline. Currently, the only available method to intervene during a live session is through text messaging, which can be slow and ineffective in urgent situations.
In cases such as unexpected disruptions — for example, when an unauthorized student joins and causes disturbances, or when a teacher displays inappropriate behavior or communication — administrators need the ability to take immediate action. However, the lack of direct control limits their ability to maintain class order and protect the learning experience.
To address this issue, we propose adding quick-action buttons in the Monitor interface that allow admins to instantly remove teachers or students from the class, or reassign teachers when necessary. This improvement enhances operational efficiency and ensures a safer, more controlled classroom environment.
Add “Remove” button:

Enables administrators to immediately remove selected users (teachers or students) from the ongoing class.

Action confirmation dialog required to prevent accidental removals.

Once removed, users should lose access to the class session immediately.
Add “Set Teacher” button:

Allows administrators to reassign or replace a teacher in real time.

Button is only active when a teacher role is selected.

Once confirmed, the newly assigned teacher gains appropriate class permissions automatically.
UI/UX Requirements:

Step 1: Admin selects one or more users from the class list in Monitor.

Step 2: The relevant action buttons (“Remove” and “Set Teacher”) become visible/enabled based on the selected role. Clear visual indicators and confirmation modals must be included to avoid misoperations.
Permissions & Access Control:

These buttons are only visible to users with admin-level monitoring privileges.

All actions must be logged for audit and compliance tracking.

Administrators can respond immediately to classroom incidents without disrupting the rest of the session.
